Please, absolutely no smoking or burning of candles or incense permitted in the building. Smoking is permitted outside.
Check-in is between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. To arrange a late arrival, please contact us @ 410.708.8059.
Check-out is no later than 11:00 am. Our guests are welcome to use the parlours and gardens until 1:00 pm.
Our full breakfast can be served any time at your convenience between 7:00 and 9:30 daily. We are happy to accommodate earlier times and can easily accommodate special diets with 24 hours’ notice (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, low fat, and low carb).
Rates quoted are based on double occupancy. The combined sales/lodging tax is 11% (6% Maryland Sales Tax, 5% Kent County Lodging Tax).
Please add $35 per night for each additional person in a room. Only the Horsey Room can accommodate an extra person. A cot can be placed in the Stam Room for a child or smaller adult.
Although we accept Visa and MasterCard, we prefer cash or personal check. This helps us hold down costs for all our guests. Should you prefer to use your card, and additional charge may be added.
Reservations that include Saturday night require a two night stay in season (Apr 15 – Nov 7), and some holidays and special events require a three night stay. However, don’t hesitate to give us a call about a single Saturday stay – sometimes a room happens to be available for just one night!
One night stays will be considered based on availability. One night stays in season are assessed an additional $25 housekeeping charge.
Children over the age of 12 are welcome at all times. Younger children may be accommodated based on availability – please contact us @ 410.708.8059 to inquire.
Please note: Cancellations must be made by phone @ 410.708.8059 and must receive a cancellation number to be considered valid. Email can go astray and unless you have spoken to us in person, there is no guarantee we’ll know about your change in plans.
Your payment less a $30 cancellation fee will be returned if you cancel 15 days or more prior to arrival date. Regardless of the reason, there is no refund for cancellations made after this time. Reservation cannot be moved to another date for cancellations received less than 15 days prior to arrival date. If you must cancel, please contact us as soon as possible as we will work with you to try to avoid or retrieve some of these costs.
For holiday weekends, special events, Washington College Graduation weekend and multiple room bookings, the deposit minus a $30 refund fee per room will be returned if the cancellation is made 45 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date. Regardless of the reason, there are no refunds. Reservations cannot be moved to another date for cancellations received less than 45 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. If you must cancel, please contact us as soon as possible as we will work with you to try to avoid or retrieve some of these costs.
